Your Step By Step Guide To Microblading

Bigger, bolder brows have been on the arc of more and more women. Microblading is tattooing semi-permanent pigment with the help of superfine microblade. We etch lines into the skin that flow in the same direction as your own hairs are with the help of a stencil. Unlike a traditional tattoo, the pigment is placed into a higher layer of the skin, so the look is only semi-permanent, lasting from one to three years, fading over time.

Your Step By Step Guide To Microblading

▶Step 1: Analyse your natural brows

Talk to your dermatologist about the shape or the density. Your brows without makeup are then looked at and brushed back, so your technician can see what they’re working with.

▶Step 2: Measure up your new brows

You have a ruler stuck to your face, to show where your brows should start and end. We will discuss the look you want so that the final look won’t look out of place.

▶Step 3: Pencil in your new brows

The new brows are penciled in, and it’s not done with an exact colour. Your eyebrows will look heavier and more ‘blocky’ than the actual outcome, as the pencil fills the shape in, while the microneedle is done with tiny feather strokes.

▶Step Four: Time to fill them in

A bespoke pigment blend is made, to match your current brows, and then tiny hair-like strokes are etched on using a microblade. You’re not allowed to get them wet for two weeks after the treatment. You will be given certain instructions by our team to avoid any infections.
